Potterton Kingfisher Mf conventional boiler

I have a Potterton Kingfisher Mf conventional boiler in my kitchen but it has started clicking on and off repeatedly and quite rapidly when it reaches a certain temperature. I changed the room thermostat for a new one but that does not make any difference. I then tried just the hot water system on its own and the boiler does exactly the same thing so it's obviously not a room or cylinder thermostat problem. Does anyone know the likely cause of this problem?

The cause of the problem should be simple to sort out. Call out a GSR engineer who is qualified to work on gas boilers and they will give you the diagnosis. We cannot give gas appliance advice on the public forum.
