Potterton HE18 BOILER

Hi Guys

I have problem with my boiler it was running normally until Thursday night when I noticed the rads were hot even though the thermostat was on low. The boiler carried on till the pressure went in to the red it then cut out. The boiler will run normally with just the water on but as soon as you switch the heating on it will cut out when the pressure climbs into the red. There are two Temperature sensors (flashing neon amber lights) only the end one flashes. Is the fault a faulty thermostat
