Hi I completed my city & guilds technical certificate level 2 about 12 months ago, I've just started an nvq level 2 in plumbing but I'm not attending college for this my friend told me I should be attending college as I need to do my writes ups? Is this correct

Thanks

no, you write it up with photo evidence then get it assesed about 2 or 3 times by a visit from the tutor on site...i believe.
i do know not all colleges do the same way.

try asking kirkgas, he was/is a tutor

What about your theory exams? Or are they completed in your technical certificate?

All exams are covered in the tech certificate. You would need to have on site proof of a coupe of bathrooms and some maintanance or one bathroom and a couple of radiator runs or a cylinder and maintenance. You could have it done in 3 visits depending on the jobs your on. I know this because I've helped a bloke out to do is. It's exactly the same as when we done the apprenticeships back in the day, just quicker. A lot quicker. I took just over two years to do nvq level 2

Hi bit of a weird issue, I installed a grohe bathroom tap successfully 2 months ago bought from screwfix. Last week the right hand hot tap makes a squeak noise as I turn it on or off, left tap is 100% perfect and noiseless. This grohe tap is like one unit, so no screw notch or way I can remove...

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
