Anyone know if there are any special considerations / regs / rules / best practises for installing a sink, cold tap, instantaneous single point water heater and waste run in a room destined to be used for the actual piercing proceedures in a piercing palour?

I don't think it would be classed as a medical proceedure but obviously hygiene is an issue. Perhaps long lever 1/4 turn taps and a belfast sink?

Also anyone got good recommendations for reliable single point heater for limited and infrequent draw-off?

Thanks

I would have thought that the store owner should be able to provide the brief, failing that perhaps try your local Environmental Health Officer, usually contactable through your local council. Not my area of expertise but are you after a gas or electric water heater?

Hi there, I don`t believe that there are any special regs but would be good practice to treat as hospital spec with lever taps and schoolboard clips on pipework to allow cleaning around pipework etc. or use boxing/ducting to conceal pipes.

Whilst in there I dare you to get a prince albert done!

contact environmental health and/or building control and get their advice.
if you do something illegal it will be your fault. dont trust the store owner to know the regs.
cover your back at all times !
plus if there's rules and regs involved you can put your price up !

I once had to repair an instantaneous water heater feeding a wash basin in a gym , no big deal I thought , call in on Friday on my way home and the jobs a good un.
I did not know ( honest ) that Friday is women only until 6 pm and that the basin was in the women's dress / changing room
Nice easy job to remove and replace but took ages finding my shifter when I dropped it
