Plumb thumbs does anyone use them?

hi does anyone use plumb thumbs when taking a radiator off? Do you use them for the obvious spillages or is it aswell as you don’t have to top up the system because the water is still in the radiator ?

I personally haven’t had the pleasure of using them, I have compression stop ends in my van stock, so use these to remove a radiator.

Yes sure:

Compression Stop End 15mm

BS EN 1254.2. WRAS approved.

Just be certain they’re 15mm threads you’re screwing them into, they wouldn’t work on older type rads.
