I have just installed this boiler. Nice fancy user interface. In service mode in max rate I am getting

O2 4.2
co2 9.5
Co ppm 129
Ratio .0013

Ratio and co is quite high. Usually when commissioning a new boiler I get a ratio of around .0007 and about 70 ppm co.

Pipe sizing is all fine and that. Flue is all good too

Doesn't give any combustion readings in their MI'S when commissioning. Only gas rate and inlet pressure. Does on servicing though. Just the norm, if it's less than .004 great

Ideals MI, s are very vague when it comes to commissioning. That's only downside to there boilers. They say ad long as ratio below 0.004 and CO below 200.

If inlet, WP and gas rate is spot on, and there are no specifics on CO2, as long as your below 0.004 and 200ppm, then your ok.

I think the Logics run at about 0.0011-0.0014 as well, if I remember right.

The co could be burning off the newness inside. co2/o2 slightly gas rich but if ratio's below mi sorted.

All the ideals I've fitted although are great boilers they've ALL been set to burn at the same levels.. TBH they could be set a bit cleaner but we abide by Mi's and they're left because they're within limits.

I fitted a 26 combi today. It gave a 0.0013 ratio in max mode.
Its within manufacturers spec and was working very well
