Hi there,

I am trying to diagnose a problem with a Remeha Avanta Plus 28C combi-boiler and have a problem with the hot water. When it first turns on it's good and hot, however, after a few minutes it cuts out and the water turns cold. The central heating is fine.

The pump is fine and the pressure in the system is about 1.5 bar which is OK. Checked the expansion vessel and that's fine also.

There is no manual and no scale inhibitors or Mangna Clean have been installed. No idea as to the age either. Wondering if it could be the plate heat exchanger getting bunged up.

Anyone have any bright ideas of what this could be?

Thanks in advance

Mike :)

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
