new guy here, i am a self employed plumber have been for about a year now slow pickin up work but still smiling! was a mechanic for 10 years in the army before i had enough of bein shot at and treated like a naughty 6 year old! look forward to chattin to you all.!

Hi Munky,
Well done on starting on your own. Can you let me know how you went about this. I am working in IT at the moment and really looking into plumbing for quite a while but need all the info I can find. e.g. courses etc. I am so desperate to get cracking and would love to here more from other people who have changed careers and taken the 'Plunge'
