hi i have a baxi combi 105 that keeps cutting out and pressure keeps going very high when on what could be the problem?? maybe gas valve or exp vess??

sounds like expansion vessel requires re priming and maybe faulty thermistor or restriction in flow around boiler

I'd go with expansion vessell too. Prob just needs recharging, its prob causing the pressure rise and them dumping the pressure. Is the Prv discharging?

Expansion vessel, but if you are thinking it's the gas valve, you definately need a GS engineer

yes expansion vessel typical with the 105 to go into overheat when it fails but as said by puddle could also have a dicky ntc bear in mind if the ev has gone it will take out the prv still an economic repair btw
