whats the chances of a x plumber getting back working for a company
finished an apprenticship back in 1979 gained c/guilds, then 1984 took a career change went into ceramic wall + floor tiling ,been there ever since
bathroom refurbs etc , need a new challenge so looking to go back to a plumbing with a company, in this climate self employment in plumbing does not look to attractive, whats the chances any idea's ?

If you were actually tiling?, then I'd say you'd be an assest to most plumbers as a mate (I hate tiling). That way you could trade your skills for training to get your plumbing skills up to scratch. Good luck with it.

Quite a few down here have been laid off by companies. Going self employed up and till 04-05 you would be ok. My advice would be, if you are currently employed at least wait till 2011, if not, best of luck.
