hi all,

by the time you print them you would be cheaper getting them from vistaprint, but once you order from them they send you an email every other day telling you of their deals, well worth it though

Do one yourself.

Remember that you need to be able to get across what the flier is about in under 5 seconds reading which is the maximum time anyone will glance at an ad. (try showing one to friends giving them only 5 seconds to read it then asking them what they can tell you from it!)

Additional details separate if people want to read on.

Needs to be easy to read (fonts need to be easy on the eye and non-serif)

Pictures which describe what it is about but do not dominate.

Text large enough to read (most important things largest, least important things smallest)

Name, phone number and location prominent.

Plenty of advice on the net.

You could try looking up plumbing websites.

And if it helps ... something about marketing ...

Years ago I went on a self employed business course and put simply (very simply) marketing was about your typical customer. On the business course they made us think of our typical customer. Age, background, education, job, etc. How did that customer find me? Blah, blah ... Then you gear your advertising to gaining more of those customers. Eg, if your average customer is 50-70 years old, it's useless advertising in the local night club!

Why not go on the electrical and tiling forums and see if other tradesmen in your area wants to do a flyer between you all,the more trades on flyer ,the more likely people will keep

Heres mine , works fine for me, obviously left my number out just to air on the side of caution. ;) Oh and always put your home address on it too !

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
