what's everyone's opinion on plastic floor covering that sticks down vs dust sheets
I can see the obvious benefit for stairs but what about everywhere else
and what brand do you find best
thanks

I still use sheets on areas other than stairs for carpeted places put use plastic for laminate floors as sheets slide to much

Depends how long and how much mess I'll have in the property. The stick down ones are great for stairs as sheets can be a terrible trip hazard.

yeah I never use sheets on stairs, so would you recommend plastic if your say making a lot of dust, but just use sheets if your only drilling a few clips or hanging rads?

also what stick down rolls do you find best thanks

Roll and stroll

Ive used both roll and stroll and traditional 'bg' type sheets. Use sheets more often. roll and stroll takes me longer to put down and is like a skating rink when it gets wet.

If I'm in a place for a day then roll and stroll. Everywhere I will be working ie walkways and upto rad positions. Then dust sheet where I'm working at the time.

I use dust sheets all over, they can be a problem on stairs but I have some that are the width of the corridor/stair. For laminate and hard surfaces I use use a plastic backed dust sheets. These are really great and many customers comment on them.

I'm not keen on the sticky plastic, just waiting for the day it pulls up half a carpet lol! Plus its really slippery when wet..... :punk:

Thanks everyone think ill be purchasing roll and stroll next time I'm buy a toolstaitoin

Got a roll and stroll from toolstation on Saturday, wanted two, but they only had one in stock. So I got 1roll & stroll and 1 of there own copy. Apart from the lettering, I couldn't tell them apart.
Oh and £6 a roll cheaper.
