been bank today to pay the past few wks cash in to find they rejected some £20 notes due to being false - i will be more aware in the future - others beware

Anything to look out for on them?

lady at bank advised feeling where it says bank of england at top this should be embossed also feel the note originals should feel textured. going to buy one of those detection pens this wk end.

Banks normally best place to get shot of em, also worst offenders for doling them out.

Thinking about it, I noticed them checking the notes under UV las week, first time I had seen them do that.

All this time self employed and I've never even considered one of those detector pens.

if it was one of these i would have kept it lol
