Always all copper with me.
Connecting to the pump hoses neater and no strain on them with copper offsets.

You made it awkward for yourself with the outlet horizontal pipes level a bit close to pump to connect easily to.
I like the use of lever valves

I tell you what Dave, on this one there's a 750mm void between ground floor & first (bungalow converted to hoose).
I made a hand drill from 15mm copper cut at 45 deg to penetrate ceiling below (rather than SMASH a hole through). :):)

Didn't make myself clear enough Jim. Sorry.

The thick slab reduces the vibration noise transmission by an extraordinary amount. The bigger the slab the better. The void acts as a resonance chamber otherwise.

No I mean in conjunction with a paving slab. Not saying it’s silent but it’s a damn site better than straight on the floor

Interesting.

I live in a flat and play the drums. I have a special quiet kit but to improve things I made a 'tennis ball riser' which is basically 2 sheets of ply with tennis balls in between and then things like carpet squares and gym-type rubber mats as well. Saw a couple of youtube videos measuring sound before and after and it seemed to make a good difference, particularly the low end which is what carries the most

Would I have been better off just putting down some paving slabs?
