A charity I have worked for in the past is having to reduce the size of its offices and lease out the remainder. It will remain the landlord of the building so has some say over what can and can't be done elsewhere on the premises.
They wish to install a single disabled WC for use by their few staff. However, there is no reasonable access to a soil pipe without pumping up about 4 metres into the almost horizontal (with proper fall) soil pipe.
One of their tenant firms have offered them the use of the tenant's lavatory in emergency.
I'm aware that a macerator based WC is not allowed as the sole WC for domestic premises. I'd be grateful for any advice on whether this is permissible for non-domestic premises given the provision of emergency alternative facilities.
Thank you

If a house is turned into flats there must be 1 bathroom on mains that can be used, you are pretty much the same so I would hazard a guess and say it`s ok.
Choose the macerator carefully as you want one that claims around 5m head and if I was doing it I`d put an isolating valve on the discharge close to the pump outlet.

RPM is your man this chap is better than the best when it comes to pumping waste
