Sitting here feeling nostalgic

not to change time but something you wish you had done.

Me i would go and see Nirvana live.

its the one band i wish i could and should have seen but never did.

Back to spend time with my dad...........after seven years i still miss him a lot, but on a brighter note i would have liked to see Queen live with Freddie.

To have realised at an earlier age what life is all about and gone and travelled the world !
Could never go to a concert I hate people !
Was at Crufts this year as a friend was in agility competiton it was ok at 8 in morning by 11 other half had to take me out to van as wanted to push them all over like dominoes !
Most of them stank too !

So, what is life about ?
Not riding the treadmill we all think we need a better phone or a new car ?
Chasing a dream that you will never achieve as we as human beings always want more ?
Being able to tell a customer or boss actually I do not want your money as it is obvious you need it more than I do ?
watching waves or a fire and not thinking oh I should have done this or that ?
Being able to tell your kids you love them and not pushing them to some ridiculous career path at a young age or wanting them to go to university when most kids are not bright enough but forced into a mickey mouse degree !
Not seeing hitting a deer or a pheasant as damaging your vehicle but thinking that is lunch sorted !
Foraging in the countryside
Letting kids jump off a pier or cliff without any oooooh that might be dangerous !
Lighting a fire to get warm
Digging a hole as a toilet
Sitting up all night having a laugh outside under the stars
laughing at salesmen who want you to switch providers as they do not get it when you say I do not need any !
Many more but living instead of existing

Life is all about living and experiencing as much as possible while we are here........don't understand them that work and then sit in front of the TV for the rest of the day and all weekend.

heathen, the rugby is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To have started sorting my relationship with my Dad out much, much sooner. We were beginning to develop a proper man-to-man mutual respect but had some way to go when he died. We loved each other fiercely but couldn't show it so we ripped lumps out of each other instead.

It'll be 3 years tomorrow and it's still raw...

I'd go back to being 10 years old. Out on my uncles boat fishing in the rain. They were my happiest times. Always felt safe with him, like a comfort blanket. Taught me a lot and always had time for me.
Getting emotional! Going for a smoke!

Will come with ya x

I would go back til before croppie joined the forum.

Aaaaah happy days:p

I wouldn't mind doing Pink Floyd's 1973 Earls Court DSOTM again. What a night that was!

would be funny to see the look on the first man or woman face when they discovered how to make fire. its either gonna be elation or panic

Don't regret the past look to the future
What's done is done
Good times bad times all make us what we are

away n bile yer heid ya mug yea ;)

lol, typical weegie. :charming:

i include a definition of a weegie for the uninitiated.....

weegie - a scottish version of a scouser. usually found in a local near you wearing a shell suit and smelling vaguely of urine. typical behaviour is sat alone arguing with himself and generally doing more damage to the pub trade in england than the smoking ban:boxing_smiley:

think that about covers it...

we're much worse than you think :17:

btw, great people them scousers, you don't know what your missing till you've been to a celtic v Liverpool game
a great day is always had by all.

I'd go back to 1969 before I discovered girls and keep it that way for another twenty years!

actually, come to think of it!.....

to have not cocked up my apprenticeship up in 1977 at my uncles firm of plumbing & building est 1963 and still running today under new ownership.

my mum told me only about a year ago that he wanted me to be there so he could pass it down to me and kept the firm going under the same name...

cheers ma!
