Hi all, hoping to be gas safe shortly.
I recieved a report from an engineer in one of the properties I maintain.
The report ask for the flue type.
It gives 4 options and the n/a option.
My question is if you have a boiler with a gas/air ratio valve, does this come under FF(fan flued) or RS(room sealed) on a report?:rolleyes2:

Not working on any gas related at all.
But on a gas course at the the mo.
Hence the report got me a bit curious.

A strange question for someone who anticipates becoming GSR soon.
Ask your mentor, and ask them to explain the flue types and why your question seems strange. :)

Well I have got confused, that room sealed can also be a fanned flue?

Ask your instructor, this is a pretty basic subject and really effects on how you classify it in unsafe situations.

Lets say it ticks both boxes.
The boiler is room sealed and fan flued.
Which one on the report do you put on the cert?:rolleyes2:

I no I am stupid, on simple things.
But Just tryin to learn.:rolleyes2:

Sorry bud but you won't get answers to gas related questions on an open forum....you will need to ask your mentor.

Read the posts , ask you instructor , stop going round in circles
