Hi Guys,
Good evening everyone.
I recently installed the heat only boiler where the system is gravity fed, I also installed 3-port diverter valve, previously heating and hot water working on
gravity fed. I installed the pump as well and did the Y Plan on the system. The system is working fine but the customer made some notice that
1). When Heating is ON and HW is OFF
Heating and HW both comes on, Heating is moderately warm and HW is piping hot all the time.
2) When Heating OFF and HW is ON
Water gets hot very quickly but does not reheat if all HW used or cool down then specified on cylinder stat.
3) When heating ON and HW ON
Heating comes on but the HW does not come ON. Heating much hotter then said in (1).

Kindly someone out there who can help me to put it right. Thanks in advance.

Are you Gas Safe?

a gas safe registered "engineer" and you can't make the simple diagnosis as to why its not working as you "expected" I find that hard to believe.
You are saying that you can solve all the problems, i dont believe rather than questioning why dont you solve the problem if you really that expert. I doubt it if you are any better.

If wired like this should work with new valve.

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
