Had a fault today that has got me, just wondering if anyone has anything similar.

Boiler fires. burner light come on, indicating flame rec has been proved, but cuts out seconds afterwards, tries several times then fault code EA comes up.

Electrodes have been replaced, continuity is good from flame sensor to board.

Condense trap has been cleaned, and are no blockages.

Checked fan pressure which is right

Standing gas pressure 26mb, and when boiler fires is 20mb.

Thermistor readings are correct.

Called worcester and they suggest gas valve or pcb, both pretty expensive!

well if its firing that proves the fans working ok, I am with bosch on this ,What i would recommend doing is tell your customer to take a contract out with BG as they will do a fixed price job, So that way you save you customer a fortune
