Hi,
my shed recently got flooded and I didn't notice a box of yorkshire fittings under some other stuff.
Sat there a while in the wet and now they have some white gunk inside. Looks like it's leached out of the ring of solder.
Can I still use these or will they give me trouble?
Cheers
Justin

Clean them before fitting them cant see any issues coming from them if in doubt use one on a test rig and try it

Have been given a few Yorkshire fittings that have lying about for years that were like that.
Can be hard to clean, but use some emery cloth to clean them and if you see the copper sparkling, it should solder okay. I would use them on less important areas, like on expansion pipes above water level.

Ha ha ok I guess they're alright then.
Thank you all for your advice.
Justin
