Discuss UFH heating problem - No manifold in the Plumbing Jobs | The Job-board area at PlumbersForums.net

I would set a static air pressure test - 2 bar- so if it does leak badly no water in wrong place then if it does or does not leak air let us know and we can advise you more.

Can't air test above .50 bar

You could use a regin type pump to put 1bar pressure in there first but no more! if your worried about leaks , but nothing beats a water hydrolic test and you need to make sure you have a flow and return with a good flow in and out and the pipework is not blocked and is leak free this will save you a lot of grief further down the line now Bodge it and Leggit has moved on to his next victim. All the best kop

Why is that then ? would 0.5 bar do then ? use a moded up drainage balloon or pump

Because it could kill someone if a fitting or the pipe pops

Due to air compression
