Hi Guys,
got called to a flat today, the landlord told me the tenant has complained that the boiler is losing pressure, the landlord topped pressure up on friday and today (monday) it was almost on zero. i figured the most likely scenario would be the blow off, so i re pressured the system and waited outside for a drip from the blow off pipe, no drips at all. the flat is above an office and they have not noticed any damp patches yet so probably not a leak under the floor, im wondering if its a small split in the plate heat exchanger but wouldnt you have to have a lot of showers and hot water washes to reduce the pressure to zero over 3 days?
the boiler is a Worcester 30Si
so far i have asked the tenant to monitor the pressure and check if it goes down when he uses the hot water.
im not to sure what else it could be, unless a damp patch appears anytime soon.
