Hi lads I got a customer who wants a Saniflo removed, I have put a number in over the years but not removed, it pumps straight up out the unit to the loft to to other side of the house, what's the best way to remove that vertical pipe without the "contents" ending up on me. If there ain't a way I will not be doing it

How about flushing it a couple of times with no contents deposited in the toilet pan? After 4-6 flushes with just an empty bowl, any stuff lurking in the pipes should be ''gone''. You can then put on your raincoat and very long rubber gloves and get on with removing pipes and unit for a decent days earning

That's my fear! I'll pass on this one lol what about if the units packed up all together???? Then what u just get covered in pony

I have done as Village Idiot says and then used my wet vac to suck up the water after disconnecting the outlet at the Saniflow unit end. Just undo the jubilee clip with a wet vac running up nice and close to the pipe. It's not too bad and I only had one small nugget of human solids in my wet vac last time I did this.

If the Saniflow has died then I'm afraid it's a sewage into vacuum job :vanish:

And if it`s not working, then what you do?
