I'm wanting to put underfloor heating in my new property, in the two downstairs rooms. Would you guys dig up the existing screed, put down celotex, uf, then rescreed or just do an overlay system. I'm not bothered by mess or initial cost, I just want the most efficient/ effective system.

Dig up amd start again is best, you will finish with no height increase and get better insulation.

Bings got loads of kangos now...... Idiots....... Croppies mate eddy?

Defo up and out. 300mm of gablite, followed by 75mm gyvlon

Make sure the rooms are well insulated and a cold bridge is fitted to outside walks
