I seen one go but not that bad. Had the burner seal gone?

Seal gone, hex cracked, burner door warped, air intake melted. Was only a routine service...wants a quote on repair haha.

Graphite seal old version ecotec plus 824. Going on 10 year old...there was a g10 sticker on it so has had a replacement at some point.

Edited as above wasn’t read. Not been service in years if t was graphite. I still change them every 5

When I was on the cards we (amongst others) had the contract to upgrade from the rubber ones. Saw some sights

I agree I must change my own boilers seal.

I change em every service why wouldn't you but I always strip down clean the hex flush it through check gap on electrodes and clean em . Kop
