hi guys. I'm one day closer to get my oftec ticket!
My customer has a old oil boiler that been getting served every year but recently the boiler been over heating and switching off but she said when she removes the front cover that it works. Would this be the case of a new thermostat?

Sounds a bit odd.
Test the calibration of the stat!!
Thermometer on flow out of boiler, (use your FGA on temp diff), turn stat to full. The stat should let it get to 82 degree's C plus or minus 3 degrees.

Hope I'm on same wave length and answering the right question??
