If that Treyloar came in here, spouting plumbing facts and rubbish, I would say

'Whilst I have deep respect for your plumbing knowlage and experiance - if you come into my house and start talking to my wife about water regulations and 'INTERNAL PIPE DIMENSIONS', then i would have to say

Oi TREYOLAR - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!'

I just hate those boring course books for C&G plumbing, can remember all of them, but Treyolars one are mind numbingly boring!

I also like harry enflield . . .

And laughing!

In fact thinking back to some of the utter crap we learnt on the C&G, at least 50-60% had no real use in the world - like internal pipe dimensions for example . ..

Hi, I have an old steel water mains pipe (approx 45mm) that I need to connect to a new pehd water mains (25mm). I can't get at it to create a new thread so what's the best way of connecting the two? Cheers, Peter

I want to reconnect some outbuildings to an existing water supply. The supply pipe is old 22mm MDPE and buried for a fair distance so not going to dig it up and replace it šŸ˜¬. Question is can I use normal 22mm plumbing push-fit connectors to make the connection as finding 22mm MDPE fittings...

Hi all Noticed bad smell in my drain out side put my hand down and it unclogged it for now however I checked my sewer drain and after flushing my toilet a good few times nothing is going to the sewer so don't know is there a blockage or what way it works many thanks and advice would be grateful
