New product for July 2012 is the Turbo Core from *********.

Faster diamond drilling of holes into very hard tiles.

Designed for optimum performance the diamonds are bedded into the metal by a process known as vacuum brazing.
An expensive process because it has to be performed inside a vacuum chamber but with the advantage of superior integrity and strength.

So which is BETTER from *********. The standard pack on the left. Or the new product launch on the right.

The two products are priced about the same.
Turbo Core lasts longer and yet Standard cores have four times as many cores so the lifespan is the same.
Turbo Core can be used at fast speeds whereas the Standard cores have to be controlled.
If Turbo Core runs out in the middle of a job you are a bit stuck unless you have a backup. Standard cores you know where you are with them. Down to the last one? Time to order more...
If Turbo Core fails suddenly (for any reason) you have no backup unless you bought more than one.
Turbo Cores can be used dry (note this will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce lifepan) Standard cores MUST be used with a water source.
Turbo Cores do not need cleaning out. They simply use grunt and speed to make the hole. Standard cores do need to be declogged.
If you lose a Turbo Core its gone. But with Standard cores you have more to play with.
With Turbo Core it takes out more of the tile so requires more effort and energy. Stadard cores only remove a small area of tile so need less energy.

Well thats a bit of a mixed bag of pros and cons. As you can read and tell there is not a great deal between the two systems. The main pro for Turbo Core is it can be used at speed.
So why did we launch it? We have been pestered by retailers and the market to launch vacuum brazed drills. So you will find them on our website for sale.

We have had 21 testers on this website putting them through the paces and results back seem to indicate that most people are happy with the standard drills in a quad pack.

Yes I have used the Turbo Cores myself - thats me in the video and my experience is they do need more "grunt" to get going. A battery drill is probably not man enough for Turbo Cores.
What seems to happen is that you gobble up battery juice. So I switched over to my cabled 240v Boshh drill instead.

But we are offering CHOICES. Again 5 years ago there was nothing out there on the market for porcelain that we below £300 so we are still catering for the £29.99 to £49.99 market.

If you do treat yourself to a Turbo Core then let us know your experience with it.

Do you need my address so you can send me a FREE one? ;) So I can see if it works etc..

These were product tested prior to launch earlier this year (December Jan) by 21 field testers. So that bits done.

But there is a promo code on these. Use code "TURBO" to get a very healthy 30% off the web price
