Hello,

Im Andy from the fantastic god like place called Yorkshire.

I am new to the industry and retrained for Domestic Natural Gas, from being a Door Supervisor (bouncer).

I passed my ACS in July and im now Gas Safe registered to which i am due my probation visit. This is how i found you guys during a google search.

Even though im on the GSR and operating a bussiness i am still putting learning hours in and paying for an experienced engineers time on bigger jobs.

I hope to get to know some of you, and hope to pick up some tips along the way.

Countyism, not racism.

Countyism is perfectly understandable and a rich and vibrant part of our history.

You of all people should remember The War of the Roses.........

Yes. But how many people remember that as a consequence of the houses of York and Lancaster battering each other to a pulp, we ended up with a Welshman (Henry Tudor) on the throne?

The throne of England has been occupied by the Danes (Canute, Svein etc) the French (Normans, Plantagents), the Welsh (Tudors), the Scots (Stuarts), the Dutch (William and Mary), and most recently, the Germans, (Georgians & Victorians). Oh - and all the current lot, apart from the queen, are half Greek.

So there you go.

Hampshire still rules.
