At the start of COVID we started increasing the size of a small bungalow to create first floor. All electrics and plumbing removed.

Electrics done with exception of connecting boiler.

Mid COVID needed hot water so bought a pre plumbed Gledhill pressurised tank and connected not and cold pipes to sinks and showers etc. Have not connected anything up on primary wet as i know certification (C3? rerquired)

Am looking to get boiler installed e.g. Worcester Bosch Greenstar ri 24kw which would need connecting to the Gledhill cylinder via 28mm.

Am I going to be able to buy a boiler and then get a quote for fitting the boiler and flue, connecting to the cylinder and providing certificates for both cylinder and boiler installation.

Is that my best way to go?

Note: i am not looking for a quote on here just looking for advice on what I am likely to be able to get someone to do.

Thanks

Brian

You may not need 28mm connections and you may not be able to purchase the boiler. If you can then get a quote for fit only and supply and fit.

G3 is the required qualification for unvented hot water cylinder.

Is the installation engineer likely to be both G3 and gas safe or do they tend to be separate people.

Thanks
