Evening everyone

I’m not sure if this is the place to post but was hoping for some help

I’m looking to buy a log burner and have it plumbed into my central heating system to provide hot water to my house.

I have no idea what I’m doing so a asking for recommendations of someone that ca do it and what an approximate cost is?

I’m in the South East (RG457PH) which is Crowthorne

Thanks Adam

Funny, reminds me of when I was a kid and we had water heated by a solid fuel stove back boiler that heated a cylinder, and one radiator, all by natural circulation in that case. Yes the house was generally cold unless you were next to the stove.

Seems to be lots of choice in back boilers. Can't recommend anything specific but:

Are you combining with PV and ground source and big rads and underfloor heating?

Cheers,

Roy (amateur)

Do you want the proposed log burner to do part central heating or just hot water?
What type is your existing boiler?
Is the existing system tank feed or pressurised?
Bit more info please!
