also, if you need to swing the flue to an opposing wall, is there a blanking plate that can be switched over?.:winkiss:

Looking at the instruction manual you need an elbow on the flue inside the boiler and the flue duct is cut shorter inside the boiler for a rear flue than a side flue. The elbow probably came with the boiler but would have been discarded when they weren't needed for the original installation.

done that glowworm boiler today, well sort of?:censored:

only to find that swinging the flue around from right exit to left exit leaves the flue pipe manifold 25mm short (the bit that goes of the fan to the flue):75:

i had to leave the job unfinished and no dosh until i source the alloy tube and get it fitted.
any clues what to do and what is the flue sealant used?

help time=money and too much work on for a 3 cell chap.

There was no sealant on the flue connections inside the boiler, just an interference fit.
