Can anyone help with how to adjust float on a Flomasta Bottom Inlet Brass Shank Fill Valve as there is no screw. its from screwfix. its been overflowing. many thanks.

Hi there try turning 90 degrees and see if it slides up and down get to required level and turn it back again hope this helps..brum

if its the same as the one I fitted the other day,

there is a little bit of grey plastic that you slide down about a quarter inch.
then turn the valve whichever way only about half inch.
position up or down as required and put back in reverse order.

Yep, little grey plastic clip, slide it down (about 10mm) turn valve approx. 90 deg and slide it up to where you want, turn it back 90 deg and slide the clip back up.

Thank you all for the advice. Unfortunately after I did what was said it still leaking into the pan. Must be a bigger job so I called the plumber

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.
