Hi guys doing a landlord cert in a house converted to flats, pipework comes out of wall mounted meter box and rises 5m up the wall and through the sofit. The pipework is clipped with plastic clips but not the close lock type. Am I right to write this down as NCS guys?

Many thanks

George

Hey buddy, you could. I think a lot of it boils down to the potential for damage if it's a high traffic/ busy area. Why I tend to always use munsons externally. They just give that little extra solidity

or get it done in mild steel pipe, wont get damaged then, but just suggest it to the customer as its all you can do now

Cheers for your replies guys, landlord is up for changing clips so that's cool, explained to him the potentials of them not being as secure. It's a student let and on a busy road/driveway.

You guys are right about NCS but I still like to call it that :( my bad

def ncs, male back plates and munsens or simular is what id use. keeps the pipework off the wall enough to make it easy to solder (keeps the fittings out the sleeve)

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
