Out of the box all twelve yes TWELVE diamond core drills shown as well as the equipment in the case. You will get a set of yellow anti-slip guide plates to fit each of the six sizes in the box. You get the water sponge to help cool the drills and you get a J-Hook to clean the drills. Its like a giant toothpick but dont use it on your teeth! More details about the equipment and how to use it at the bottom of the page....

Close up of the FOUR 8mm cores ideal for brown rawl plugs. And the smaller 6mm cores (also 4 of them) used for red rawl plugs. All bathrooms need fixtures and fittings for example a loo roll holder, mirror, cabinets as well as screw holes for the shower doors, shelves etc etc. Also in shot the J-hook to keep them clean!

The big boys on show! 45mm for waste pipes (Bath waste) Then a 35mm for monoblocks or the 32mm sink waste. Then you have a 25mm ideal for gas pipes or large bore water pipes at 22mm. Then there is an 18mm which is going to cut a generous hole for 15mm copper pipes. Great!

Great looking deep case with everything laid out so that you know at the end of the job you have not forgotten a thing! Pack up and easy to go. Chunky carry handle and a compact unit. The ESSENTIAL set from 365-Drills

1) Anti-Slip Guide Plates : 2) Water Cooling Sponge : 3) Cleaning hook [ YOU DO NOT GET THE BATTERY DRILL! ]
http://*********.com/jpgs/guideplate.jpg
To start the hole push the anti-slip guide plate on the wall. Dip the tip of the drill into some water and that will be enough for you to get the hole started. Give it about 10 seconds of drilling until a pit forms. Now remove the anti-slip guide plate and put the soaking wet sponge under the core bit.
http://*********.com/boxset/ESS2.jpg
To cool any of the drills use the handy sponge provided. Simply submerge the sponge in water (do not wring out) then push it against the rotating core bit. If you are on a wall and vertical then put the sponge underneath to catch all the debris. Easy way to do the job. If you are on the flat then simply drop a puddle of water onto the tile by squeezing the sponge.
http://*********.com/boxset/ESS4.jpg
Finally - Insert the J-Hook (Its like a big toothpick) into the barrel of the 6mm or 8mm to eject any stubborn tile dirt or grit caught in the barrel - Easy!

Re: Essential Box Set - 12 Diamond core drills in the most popular plumbing sizes. 36

Good question! Its a factory direct price. We are talking to retailers about stocking them but to be blunt if this goes to retail the price will have to increase.

Two reasons: Middle man (and his reasonable profit) and retailer (their reasonable profit)

But for now NO RETAILER is stocking this product. Not because its ****e! But because we have only just finished the production of it. ALL MADE IN THE UK

Also I have just posted the alternative box set (the big one!) which can be found at this post

Used your drills on porcelain tiles, they did the job really well.. So well in fact that my brother nicked them!..

Re: Essential Box Set - 12 Diamond core drills in the most popular plumbing sizes. 36

Brothers Eh.... Who needs em! Nice to get the great feedback.

Re: Essential Box Set - 12 Diamond core drills in the most popular plumbing sizes. 36

I hope it is ok to leave feedback, I tried these a few months ago and really struggled with them.
Firstly the template was good on some tiles but on really shiny tiles it would slip.
Further to this I struggled to keep the drill cool and did a maximum of around 5x 8mm holes before they got ruined.
And then I did the ultimate sin and did it dry in a rush and absolutely killed the bit, without even going through the tile.

I understand they don't last forever and you need to follow the instructions to the T, but I can buy an 8mm bit for around £8 and this will do around 40-50 holes even if used dry. Every diamond kit I have bought has been useless and needs to be kept very cold.

Excellent for drilling holes in the garden where the tile is layed flat and water doesn't fall off but would never use on a wall as gravity fights against the water and doesn't allow it to stay cool.

Oh and finally I could not get the sponge to get the water inside the tile!!
The tip of the drill goes inside the tile as it drills, the sponge cools the drill bit down, but not the tip of the drill bit (where the diamonds are that need cooling)
Hope it is ok to post here and would welcome and feedback, but delete if not ok!!

Re: Essential Box Set - 12 Diamond core drills in the most popular plumbing sizes. 36

Surely one of these is better than a sponge? (what i use)

Re: Essential Box Set - 12 Diamond core drills in the most popular plumbing sizes. 36

"Every diamond kit I have bought has been useless and needs to be kept very cold."

I too burnt out 3 of this type of bit by overheating through friction and burning the diamonds off.
I then used a very slow speed on the cordless drill with as much pressure on the drill as I could muster, and used a spray bottle continually. I also find the residue solidifies inside the core and stops the bit traveling further into the tile, I now remove the residue from the core drill periodically during the process. The bit still looks like new after frequent use. These core drills are designed to grind rather than drill their way through the tiles.

True,
always forget to slow drill down and when doing 20-30 holes, time is of the essence..

Video worth a watch to get the most out of them.

Most common mistake is not enough water. You have to surround the drill with the sponge
