Hi all,

I'm very new to boilers and would appreciate any advice.

I've moved into a new flat (electric only, no gas) that has an old immersion tank that keeps the water hot all day. This is costing me a fortune. The only water I need heated is for two taps and a shower.

In my old flat I had gas and electric, on the boiler there was a setting to only have hot water when you needed it, it worked perfectly and was super cheap to run. Does this exist for electric only? If so what's it called?

Thanks very much everyone.
Jamie
