Hi all,
Just a quickie if you can help.

I am trying to repair a leaky tap and can't see where and how to remove the tap cover. I don't want to force something and cause any damage. The taps are Bristan and the coves are a dome shape. Any help would be greaty appreciated.
Many thanks

dont know the tap but I would think if you put a screwdriver under the chrome top part but over the bottom knurled bit, it would have a screw underneath.

Bristan Omega taps, I think the top dome unscrews but not 100%. Give Bristan a call as they will probably still have the instructions

I'm sure these are the same as a pair I worked on a couple of weeks ago. If so, that smoothe dome on top unscrews. You will probably need to get your grips on it and carefully turn whilst holding the knurled bit. In fact I had to turn the taps to the full on postion to achieve the resistance to get the domes off.

Bad design, very easy to cause damage with the grips.

Yes quite correct, they unscrewed fine, thanks again for your help
