Hi guys , just looking for some advice. Our building contractor is doing a compete replumb and we have a on a radiator he installed. it was to be wall mounted and the pipes were set to come out of the wall. It's not as clean as I thought it would be as i thought the pipework would go straight into the radiator. and just wondering if this looks correct ? And if not what do I need to tell them to do to rectify it

Simone has first fixed the pipework too low

Two options live with it

Or get them to rip the tiles off and lift the pipes

Is there any particular reason the radiator height can't be dropped to the existing pipe height?

Too low height wise and you wouldn’t be able to use the valves

That's the wrong configuration for corner valves as you say these pipes should come directly out of the wall into the valves as below

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
