I had a tiger loop installed on my Becket burner oil fuel line. It is Afriso older design with the bleeder value on the top which blows out the air. The problem is that the more the burner runs the higher the oil level in the tiger loop goes. Eventually the oil gets too high and starts to flow out the top nipple. Then I cut the oil supply and thus the level in the tiger loop drop back to the middle of the glass. Process than starts over again.. Oil tank is half full. Takes about a week for tiger loop to fill back up again. The more the burner runs the quicker the tiger loop fills up.
Anybody have any ideas what I can do or what the problem maybe.
Thanks

@Best, @SimonG, @Lame plumber are three oil guys that spring to mind that might know the answer.

Edit, don`t know why Lame isn`t highlighted.

Strange one! I wonder is the oil tank located at a much higher level than the burner?
I know what I would checking first, but don't want to put it on open forum, for obvious reasons. Oil boilers can be dangerous.
Could be a faulty Tigerloop and note that Tigerloops are recommended by manufacturer to be replaced at 12 years old, if I remember correctly.
But you need an oil service person to do the work, as ordinary internal Tigerloop not now permissible plus the boiler and burner need set up.
SimonG is one of the few oil guys left on here and will no doubt have experience of this all.

I knew Lame was another who wasn't coming on the forum, but I hadn't realised he was no longer a member here!
With Lame now gone, there is probably no one here with his, or any knowledge of Agas and other ranges, vaporising or pressure jet, to give help.

Agree, yes he was a top man in his field.
