Used to be fairly cheap but they are expensive now i think.You wont go wrong with a "skill saw" by brand ( I assume you mean circular saw ) . had mine well over 15 years now .
Is the evolution good for delicate cuts like kitchen end panels it is it a bit rough?I use a battery Makita for a lot of smaller jobs but find that the Evolution unit is very good it will cut anything with one blade, + you can change blade for a stone cutter one very useful, have chased across concrete floors with it.
