2x 18volt batteries but only 1 charger, so 30 minute charge must mean 60 minutes unless you happen to have a spare makita 18 volt charger!

2 batteries need to be similar in age/usage or one will probably pick on other !

Makita is bringing out a 36 volt double side loading battery design on a circular saw.
also a pair of 18 volt batts
