I have a Vokera Vision 30C and when using a tap 3 ft from the boiler I can see the temp of the hot water in the boiler display. Most times it is less than 30 degC and the boiler takes maybe 30 seconds to heat the water. I have pre heat enabled, P shown in the display, but the water is never at 50degC to start with. Is this normal and why is the water not maintained at 50 degC.

I’m not familiar with this boiler, but if you head over to diynot.com, there’s a forum member who works for vokéra and other members who have worked on them, who’ll know a damn site more than I do.

Preheat doesn’t maintain the heat when being used. It only keeps a certain amount maintained at the boiler, so in theory takes less time to reach the tap.

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
