Hello We've just moved house which has a Vaillant Eco Tec Pro 24 with a timer unit. There is no room thermostat and I am told you can add a wireless progammeable one. If so is it from Vaillant or another manufacturer and are they straight forward to fit? Thanks for any advice

I don't think it has to be a Vaillant one, but one of our lovely plumbers should be along soon to help you out :)

it doesn’t need to be a vaillant product, my personal preference for a no frills programmable room thermostat is a Honeywell cm727, simple to install and easy to use, but you will need to employ a gas safe engineer to fit it because you need to take the lid off to wire it in.
good luck 👍🏻

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...
