Hi all,

I'm currently replacing my soil stack as part of refurbing my bathroom.

Pulled the pipe out of the ground level push fit connector without any problems. Was expecting to hit a few challenges as the house was built in 1970 and to my knowledge, the stack hasn't been disturbed since then.

Found that unlike ring seal fittings of today, the cap screws off, so I could remove and inspect the washer. This has seen better days and has started to go brittle and crack. (Pics attached)

Can you get a replacement washer for this? (ideal scenario!) or has any one got any ideas on how to re-seal this. Obviously the good news is I can just drop the pipe in place, then re-screw the cap on.

Thanks for your help!

Standard soil pipe socket washer. Put it in and silicone grease the inside of the rubber.

I've seen people just glue it back in if the rubber seals have had it.
