Replacing a brawa mix valve

Hello,

Im replacing the mix valve on my boilermate system, do I need to drain the hot water tank before I do this or will I bet able to just turn the stop tap off and change the valve?

Any advice greatly appreciated - don’t want to flood out with the contents of the hot water tank.

Because some of them have duel 240v feeds and the can look isolated but aren’t. Also you are presuming it is the OV version

Well only an idiot wouldn't have testers to ensure complete isolation.

It's a thermal store not unvented.
