A major household company has asked for £1100 to powerflush a neighbours boiler. If they refuse and the breakdown call out is because of system sludge they may charge in full instead of covering it under the monthly contract.
If I power flush the system for £300 the contract company can still say the breakdown is due to deposits because its not been power flushed by themselves. Leaving me liable.
Not the kind of argument I want to set my self up for.
Any of you guys encountered anything similar.
How do i cover myself. Any advice much appreciated.

Little confused ? is this a company covering the system on a insurance plan ? tell your neighbour to ditch them & you will service system, do power flush & fit filter .

Fitting a filter at the same time as power flushing is a good move.
And yes this is an insurance plan, doing a powerflush is just a great money maker for them. This company installed the boiler and power flushed it 7 yrs earlier.
A power flush is never 100 percent, ive opened up boilers after power flushing and while its not sludged and black you can find scale and connections to expansion vessels and pvr can be crusted in scale and dirt. Maybe im doing something wrong.
What kind of guarantee should I be giving after a powerflush?
