deal

In cryptography, DEAL (Data Encryption Algorithm with Larger blocks) is a symmetric block cipher derived from the Data Encryption Standard (DES). The design was proposed in a report by Lars Knudsen in 1998, and was submitted to the AES contest by Richard Outerbridge (who notes that Knudsen had presented the design at the SAC conference in 1997).
DEAL is a Feistel network which uses DES as the round function. It has a 128-bit block size and a variable key size of either 128, 192, or 256 bits. For key sizes of 128 and 192 bits, the cipher uses 6 rounds, increasing to 8 for the 256-bits size. The scheme has a comparable performance to Triple DES, and was relatively slow compared to many other AES candidates.

This Intergas Combi A Good Deal?

My brother is after a combi and asked me to look around for him. He's leaning towards either Intergas or Vaillant, Intergas being his first choice but thinks their prices might be beyond his budget of £800-£900. Found this one but seeing as I've not fitted boilers in years I've kind of lost...

Boilers and Powerflush - a one time deal ?

Is there a "typical" interval for doing a powerflush? Reason for asking is that it was mentioned on a recent visit by "ServeHome". I couldn't swear to it, but I'm sure that when it was done previously I was told that I only needed it to be done once. History: All in 2009. New Boiler...

Wondered how you would deal with this gas situation..

Hi all, I went to a property today to install a new Range cooker. There was already a Range there but this one has a gas oven instead of an electric oven. There's also a 28KW combi boiler and a 4ish KW gas fire there too. On commissioning the cooker, the working pressure was about 14mB with...
