We sold it for the land around it but it hurt a bit, the other half went Friday and this bit
goes today. We had it and improved it over 20 years

Looks like it was a nice house surrounded by a decent-sized garden.

Would I be correct to guess it is going to be replaced by two-dozen new-builds with cardboard walls around a wood-frame and plumbed in plastic thoughout?
It was a nice home. The approved plans are for 12 2/3 storey jobs each with a garage all built of brick price around 1/2 ÂŁm each and gated
entrance. I reality it was a good place but too big for us as our
co horts of children grew up and left . people dont want big gardens anymore.....centralheatking

Its still hanging on till Tuesday

Final bit went this morning, of course the value of the land to a developer doubled the value and no estate agent. However the whole deal took 2 years during which we were stuck and any work on the place had to be carefully considered. We carried on properly though even mowed the lawns before we left and left curtains up.
Though I took out the main victorian slate firesurround and all my doors. centralheatking

I think it'd make me cry to watch that! Mind you I bet you're living it up somewhere now!

I do buy property from time to time with a view to profit. However
the 7 I have lived in since the 80's have all been bought and renovated as Family homes as our family grew. That one was 3 beds one bog.when I got it ..I sold it as 5 beds 3 bathrooms 2 showers and a few garages plus the land. Should have got a big telly and stopped getting divorced and making and inheriting children. I just saw that one as necesarry near primary and secondary school, railway station.30 mins M6 north or South The profit is nice but seeing my work being destroyed hurt a bit in reality...I dont do sympathy either

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...
