Hi everyone, I’m completely new here and just signed up.
My Termet boiler has been leaking for a while, and I’ve been procrastinating honestly to do anything about it as the weather has been warm.
Yesterday my wife turned the heating up to the max which I told her not to do, anyway water was everywhere of course.
After reading a lot and watching some videos, I’m sure ( but please correct me if I’m wrong) that I need to replace the pressure relief valve. Also I assumed the expansion tank might need replacing too but when I opened the top part, I can’t see one??
Any tips on what my next step should be?I’ll include some pics.
Thanks!

1. I note you are in Poland, so the rules on who can do what with a boiler may be different from the UK.
2. I'm not familiar with your make of boiler, but it looks like an open vented (regular) boiler which has been attached to a sealed system. If so, expect to find the expansion vessel somewhere else.
3. The expansion vessel outlet should be connected by a copper pipe to the outside of the property. In the UK the end of this pipe would be "turned back" against a wall, usually by an elbow and a 45 degree fitting.
4. It may not be UK rules, but I would strongly suggest you leave meddling with the boiler to a trained and certified person.

Okay thank you!
I’ve taken both of pieces of advice and put the casing back on.
I assumed replacing both parts I mentioned would be a case of turning off, draining and replacing, only dealing with water, not gas which I don’t want to touch.
I presume the expansion tank is in the basement or attic?
One more question this casing that I took off, does it need to be 100% airtight? I don’t think so, but now after putting it back on the thought just occurred to me.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
