Hi all. Just wondered if anyone out there has any up to date info about this combi boiler.I've read older posts saying that Ideal have been pretty much universally panned in the past (Isar) but also read that the Logic and Logic+ could turn out to be decent and sensibly priced - and 5 years warranty with the +.

Any new info would be well appreciated. Thanks, Matt.

Matt,

We used to fit a lot of Alpha boilers, but recently have moved over to the Logic Plus range, have fitted 15 in the last 3 months and all have been 100% so far, good flueing options, good internal clock choice, easy to lift and install etc etc.

Competitive pricing too compaired to the Alpha, only downside for us is the cast alloy primary heat exchanger in the ideal against a stainless one in the Alpha.

fitted about 10 of them in the past 2 months, decent boilers, as for reliability who knows but they tell you when there is leak and to contact installer etc so is user friendly

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
